Technical Certificates Image
Img StudentI really enjoy all of the student activities on campus. Most people think a community college is just a place to attend classes, but there is always so much more happening here.

Technical Certificates

Nashville State offers one-year technical certificates that are designed to equip students to enter the job market quickly. These career and technical programs emphasize basic technical knowledge that is reinforced through hands-on experience. Students are prepared for entry-level positions through 30 to 32 hours of classroom and laboratory learning.

Internships and Clinical Practicums
Many of the technical certificate programs require students to complete internships or clinical practicums. Students apply principles they learn in class to on-the-job situations. Students work in actual business, industry, and health arenas while receiving credit.

Transfer Opportunities
The certificate programs are designed so that students can apply all of the required courses toward Nashville State A.A.S. degrees. Consult your advisor about articulation options.

Visit the Program Websites for detailed information about the Technical Certificate programs. View program requirements, course descriptions and syllabi, faculty bios, and more.

Visit the Catalog for pdf’s of the printed 2009-2011 catalog.
