After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Tennessee
State University, Travis found himself working under a mentor in an operating room
– not exactly your typical business setting. After he found that he enjoyed the work,
he heard about the Nashville State campus around the corner from him. The rest is
history.

School of Arts & Humanities
Explore the human condition through literature, language, the arts, and more. These
programs focus on critical thinking and an appreciation of other cultures. With research
skills and a significant understanding of the humanities, you'll leave Nashville State
with effective communication skills and a greater understanding of the world around
you.
School of Business & Professional Studies
Learn to think outside the box, solve problems, work with others, and ultimately succeed
in the business world. Our programs in business, management, and hospitality offer
opportunities to prepare you for a career in a variety of industries from culinary
to creative to legal.
School of Health Sciences
The world needs caring, diligent, and talented medical professionals. With all of these programs, you’ll be prepared to enter the medical field by providing the hands-on
skills, knowledge, and mentoring you need to succeed in a fast-growing and highly demanding market.
