Comcast Cares Day comes to Nashville State

This Spring, the Nashville State Foundation partnered with Comcast to beautify our greenhouse on the White Bridge Road Campus as a part of Comcast Cares Day. 

We are so thankful for the amazing volunteers who joined in to support our project!

Nashville State's greenhouse provides service learning opportunities for students while delivering an important community resource through the college’s partnership with The Nashville Food Project. TNFP helps to reduce food disparity by recovering and growing food that can be shared with our food insecure neighbors, and our greenhouse serves as a transplant garden for seedlings that are later moved to outdoor garden plots.
