Nashville State Hit with Cyberattack
On Friday, September 20, the College was infected with a computer virus that compromised several of our servers. Our Technology Services Division immediately implemented our Cyber Incident Response Plan, and has been working tirelessly to restore full access to our services.
At this time, we have no indications that any faculty, staff, or student personal data has been compromised, and 50% of Nashville State's computers have been cleared.
All classes are continuing to meet as scheduled. Getting all classroom and lab computers operational is a top priority, and restoration is continuing.
We do not have a timeframe available on when this issue will be resolved, but will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available. Thank you for your patience.
