Nashville State ECE Program Hosts Early Childhood Education Conference

For the fourth consecutive year, Nashville State has proudly hosted the United Way of Greater Nashville’s IGNITE Early Childhood Education Conference, demonstrating its ongoing commitment to supporting the Nashville early childhood education community.

Attendance increased to 450 participants this year, reflecting the strong demand for high-quality professional development opportunities for ECE professionals. It was especially rewarding to see several Nashville State alumni—now educators themselves—in attendance. Noted author Anne Wynter was the keynote speaker. 

Hosted in partnership with Nashville State’s School of Business and Professional Studies, home to the college’s Early Childhood Education program, the conference highlights the school’s commitment to preparing and supporting the region’s early childhood workforce.

Early childhood educators play a critical role in strengthening our workforce and shaping future generations.
