Nashville State Students to Showcase Artwork at Wedgewood Houston Art Crawl
Get a first look at the creative works of Nashville’s next generation of visual content creators.
Nashville State Community College is proud to announce a one-night-only student showcase featuring the many talented graphic designers and photographers in its Visual Communications program.
The event takes place on May 6, at the South Nashville Action People (S.N.A.P.) Community Center, coinciding with the Wedgewood/Houston Art Crawl. It promises to be a celebration of the vibrant creativity and talent of Nashville State students.
Visitors can expect to see a wide array of captivating and thought-provoking pieces, including photographs that reflect the diversity of the human experience and graphic designs that showcase creative visual communication skills.
In addition to the creative works on display, there will also be opportunities to meet and interact with students and faculty from Nashville State's Photography and Graphic Design programs. It will be a good time to learn about the programs and the opportunities available for aspiring photographers and graphic designers.
The Wedgewood/Houston Art Crawl is a popular monthly event that brings together art enthusiasts, collectors, and artists from the Nashville community to celebrate art and creativity. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to not only view the student showcase but also explore other galleries, studios, and creative spaces in the Wedgewood/Houston neighborhood.
This is an AIGA Student Group event, sponsored by Nashville State Student Life. There will be some creative merch for sale by the students to help raise funds to cover AIGA membership fees for students next year.
