Registration was limited to the first 1,000 participants.

It was designed for competitive runners, those working on fitness, walkers, or anyone wanting an interesting and fun experience.

Every year, proceeds support local organizations that are impactful in the Metro Nashville area. Among those being supporting in 2025 are:

  • Nashville State Community College (Foundation)
  • Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee
  • Musicians on Call

“At Nashville International Airport®, we are committed to investing in the future of our community, and supporting education is a key part of that mission," said Doug Kreulen, president and CEO, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. "We are proud to partner with the Nashville State Community College Foundation as a beneficiary of the BNA 5K on the Runway, helping to provide students with the resources they need to succeed and build a strong workforce for our region."

“Nashville State Community College is grateful to the Nashville International Airport for its support in advancing efforts that ensure student success,” said Ryan Parker, executive director of the Nashville State Community College Foundation.
