Tennessee Flavors, Nashville’s Premier Annual Tasting Event set for May 16

Local and regional food and beverage artisans will gather once again for the annual Tennessee Flavors presented by Amazon on Tuesday, May 16, in the Student Services Building at the White Bridge campus of Nashville State Community College.

Organized and hosted by the Nashville State Community College Foundation, funds raised at this delicious 21+ evening will support students and programs at the College. The public is encouraged to attend.

“Tennessee Flavors is a fun community-oriented fundraiser,” said Music City Center Executive Chef Max Knoepfel. “It gives me and our restaurant industry partners great joy to give back and be able to showcase local food and beverages from the area. Nashville is a great food destination, and we like to showcase the offering the region has to offer.”

Guests will enjoy unlimited samples from premier food and beverage artisans at this celebration of homegrown flavors and talent. More than 25 food and beverage vendors are expected to participate. Tickets for the May 16 event are $100 per guest and may be purchased online at tnflavors.org. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

Tennessee Flavors is presented by Amazon, with Midtown Care as Executive Chef Sponsor, and will feature local chefs and artisans from all around the Middle Tennessee area. Students from The Randy Rayburn School of Culinary Arts at Nashville State, located at the College’s Southeast campus in Antioch, will also be featured and will assist chefs and other vendors throughout the evening.

Longtime restauranter and owner of Midtown Cafe Randy Rayburn said, “Tennessee Flavors started more than a decade ago to help support Nashville‘s most diverse college students turn their career dreams into reality.”
