Nashville State Offers Virtual Paralegal Info Session
Nashville State Community College is offering a virtual Paralegal Info Session on November 5 at 2:00pm.
The info session is free and open to the public. People who are interested in a career change or Nashville State’s Paralegal Program are highly encouraged to attend. Nashville State currently offers a Technical Certificate in Paralegal Studies as well as an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Paralegal Studies.
Nashville State’s Paralegal Program is approved by the American Bar Association, Standing Committee on Paralegals. Students will receive instruction in legal research, legal writing, ethics and professionalism, civil litigation, criminal law, family law, torts, property law, and other legal specialty courses and general education.
The info session will be hosted by Dr. Christie Ferguson, Director of Paralegal Studies at Nashville State Community College. Sam Knolton, local lawyer and adjunct professor at Nashville State Community College, will also be in attendance to answer questions and give advice about the Paralegal field.
