Nashville State Visual Communications A.A.S. Students Win ADDY District and Chapter Awards
Two Nashville State Visual Communications A.A.S. students in the School of Arts and Humanities won Silver Awards during the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) District 7 competition. The district is made up of 18 affiliate professional advertising federations in Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana Mississippi, and Tennessee.

The competition followed the annul AAF Nashville Awards ceremony at The Clementine, where six Nashville State students won a total of seven awards. During the past seven years, Nashville State students have won 52 AAF Nashville ADDY Awards.

- 2018 – Five students won 10 ADDYs
The Nashville State Community College Foundation has for seven years provided a grant to cover student entry fees, due to the generous support of private donors that fund scholarships and program enrichment funds.
