Workforce Training Center Open House Held at Nashville State East Davidson Campus
A public open house was held at the new Workforce Training Center located at Nashville State Community College’s East Davidson campus, 2845 Elm Hill Pike.
The event introduced community members to the wide range of workforce training and job-search services now available at a single, convenient location.
The college also unveiled a state-of-the-art mobile classroom and support truck, designed to expand access to higher education and bring learning opportunities directly to the community.
This new center is the result of a partnership between:
- Nashville State Community College’s Center for Workforce Development & Continuing Education
- The Northern Middle Tennessee Workforce Board
- The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD)
Together, they aim to streamline access to education, training, and employment resources for residents of Northern Middle Tennessee.
Services available at the new center include:
American Job Center–Nashville
- Adult education classes
- Resume assistance
- Job search support
- Career counseling
- Technology resources
Nashville State’s Center for Workforce Development & Continuing Education
- Workforce training programs for personal enrichment or career advancement
- On-site staff for training and career navigation
This collaboration simplifies the path to employment, career growth, and continued education for local residents.
