Nashville Opera on Wheels Coming to Nashville State White Bridge Campus on May 1
As part of the college’s Spring Fest, Nashville Opera on Wheels will be providing Nashville State students and employees with a special performance on May 1, from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
They will be on the quad at the White Bridge campus.
Opera on Wheels is Nashville Opera’s touring performances.
“Nashville State is committed to discovering innovative and exciting ways to integrate the arts within our college community, while also finding meaningful opportunities to contribute to the broader community,” said Dr. Michael Sundblad, Dean of the School of Arts and Humanities.
“We are excited to welcome the Nashville Opera back to the college and look forwarding to growing this relationship.”
Nashville Opera via its mobile stage, all with beautiful live music performed by some of Nashville’s best classically trained singers, offers family-friendly programs of “greatest hits” from opera, operetta, and musical theatre.
In addition to Opera on Wheels for the Nashville State community, the School of Arts and Humanities, is hosting two art exhibits by noted sculptor Alan LeQuire that are free and open to the public. The exhibits are in the art gallery on the White Bridge campus.
