Nashville State Community College’s North Davidson Campus Launching Weekend College Fall 2026

Nashville State Community College’s North Davidson campus is launching a new Weekend College beginning Saturday, August 26, during the Fall 2026 semester, expanding access to flexible, career‑focused education for working adults, parents, and students who need non‑traditional scheduling options.
Students can earn degrees or certificates through convenient Saturday in‑person classes, with some programs also including Friday and online coursework.
Located just 15 minutes from downtown Nashville at 1520 Gallatin Pike North, the North Davidson campus will become the only Nashville State location offering weekend course options, reinforcing the college’s mission to meet students where they are.
To meet the needs of working adults, parents, and students seeking flexible scheduling, the Weekend College will begin with three academic pathways:
Programs Offered
Associate of Science (AS) and Associate of Arts (AA) in Social Work
- Complete in 2 years
- 15‑week semesters
- Attend classes on Friday and Saturday, plus online coursework
Administrative Assistant Certificate
- Complete in 1.5 years
- Accelerated 7‑week semesters
- Attend Saturday classes
Retail Management Certificate
- Complete in 1 year
- Accelerated 7‑week semesters
- Attend Saturday classes
In addition to these three programs, general education, and single classes are offered in more than a dozen subjects for ease of scheduling. Class schedules will be posted on nscc.edu’s class finder webpage.
