Programs in the Business, Management, and Hospitality Division at Nashville State Community College recently received reaccreditation and accreditation.

The Cane Ridge High School graduate and member of the National Honors Society, applied to and was accepted into several local 4-year universities, “but being the first in my family to attend college honestly really intimidated me.”

Sara Thaher, a graduate of Hillsboro High School, an International Baccalaureate World School, in the Marketing Pathway, is working toward her associate degree in Management at Nashville State.

Nashville State announced that Thom Druffel has been hired as the director and an instructor of its Hospitality program. Druffel brings nearly 40 years of experience in the local hospitality industry.
