Nashville State celebrated with Asurion to honor their first class of Software Engineering Apprentices.

Four students from Nashville State’s Visual Communications program took home seven prestigious American Advertising Awards (ADDYs) during a local competition among several universities and colleges.

Nashville State Community College has two of the six individual award winners.

Nashville State Community College invites the community to attend the Visual Communications Spring Portfolio showcase to be held at the main campus on April 30th from 5-7:00 p.m.

Culinary students and professional chefs from a wide range of foodservice segments participated in the contest.

Cory Guinn just earned his Visual Communications degree with a concentration in Photography from Nashville State Community College, and he knows exactly how he’s going to put it to use.

“I’m not kidding, the first semester was hard, really hard,” Kris says. “Community college is definitely not fluff,” she reiterates.

Matt Booker is all business. It’s a recurring theme when he’s asked about his experience as a student at Nashville State Community College. “Put in the effort, take it serious,” he says.
